Kindergarten and Grade 2 students got their first look at their brand new school today.
Classes at Holy Family Catholic School start on Monday. However, bus loads of students have been getting an advance tour this week.
So far, the new school is getting top marks.
“I really like the big library, because of the stained glass and all the extra reading space,” Grade 2 student Nicholas Goodwin said.
The school, as well as the adjoining Willowgrove public school, are designed to ease overcrowding at area schools. As Saskatoon expands, students in the city’s north-east were finding themselves in cramped conditions.
