This year’s version of the PotashCorp Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan was blessed with ideal sunny and warm conditions for the most part, which was a welcome change from years past for organizers. Utilizing Kinsmen Park as its new home for the first time the four-day event featured all sorts of entertainment and hands-on activities for children of all ages. One of the venues was sponsored by the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation in partnership with the Saskatchewan Indigenous Cultural Centre. Monday’s performances included Indigenous storytelling and puppetry, and among those attending was this group of students and their teachers from St.Philip School. STF staff were on-site to welcome visitors to the venue and to help out at the crafts table.
